October 17, 2022 Two PPIs Lunch - PPI Posole. Dinner - PPI Curry with PPI Rice and Raita
The most interesting developments were legal. The Supreme Court denied Trump’s appeal of the 11th Circuit’s rejection of the decision reversing the District Court’s order that sent all the documents taken at Mar a Lago to the special master. This gives the FBI access to the approximately 100 top secret documents to examine and possibly indict Trump for taking.
The other interesting legal development was the filing by the Justice Department in the district court to reverse her order to send the rest of the unclassified documents to the special master. In essence that would give the FBI access to all the documents taken from Mar a Lago immediately.
This continues the string of legal defeats Trump has suffered in court proceedings.
I heated the thawed container of Posole made last Christmas and garnished it with chopped onions, oregano, and lime juice.
Nothing like a lot of carbs and protein to make me feel great.
Willy joined us for dinner and was kind enough to stop at Talin To pick up a jar of mango chutney and a cucumber so we could make raita.
Again we tossed cumin and mustard seeds in a sauce pan and added them to yogurt, and 3/4 of a peeled, seeded, and diced cucumber.
I put out the mixed pickle and Suzette chopped some roasted peanuts and put out the shredded coconut for garnish. We drank beers with dinner.
Willy loved dinner and we enjoyed it also.
We will be eating it for several more days or freeze what is left.
Later I ate a few spoonfuls of chocolate coffee caramel custard.
We went to bed at 10:00.
Like so many others who like to litigate, Trump is finding out the bullshit ends at the court house doors.
Bon Appetit
