November 11, 2020 Lunch – PPI Beef and Beef meatball Pho Soup. Dinner – Lamb Pita Sandwiches

November 11, 2020 Lunch – PPI Beef and Beef meatball Pho Soup. Dinner – Lamb Pita Sandwiches

I awakened at 6:00 and worked at my desk and watched the stock market open at 7:30.  It was an up day for tech after two down days.  I ate a bowl of the lovely tropical fruit salad I made with granola and yogurt.  Today I paid bills and taxes.  I computed the relative share of utilities for each tenant at 524 Romero and paid the utilities and sent the utility bill to each tenant.  Then I paid taxes for three tracts in Valencia County and finally I talked to Billy and we decided to pay the taxes on 524 Romero. I also sent my calculation of taxes for the Binswanger store in Texas to Binswanger for their share of property taxes.

By then it was 1:45 and I was hungry.  I wanted to heat the PPI Beef and Beef meatball Pho soup, although I added a bit of water and four leaves of Savoy cabbage sliced.  After about five minutes of heating in the microwave the soup was steaming hot and the cabbage partially cooked to the point it was edible.  I enjoyed the soup immensely and ate a chocolate chip cookie after lunch.

After 2:00 I checked my portfolio and found that it had gained a 2:2% gain to he second highest finish so far.

Shortly after that Peter brought the huge Marc Chagall book over for my perusal.

I worked on Aaron’s case for several hours today and researched the answer to the need to Restate By-laws for another client today.

I quit working when Suzette came home and took a walk at 5:00. I kept up a rapid pace all the way
powered by a Snickers candy bar.

When I returned Suzette was hungry so we made Pita Sandwiches.  We toasted pita on the open flame, heated thin slices of roasted lamb in the microwave for a few seconds, and garnished the sandwiches wit
h diced Romaine lettuce, thin slices of tomato from our garden and spoonfuls of tzatziki I made last night.  We could not open the pita to make a pocket so we lay the ingredients one one side of a warm pita and folded it in half and ate the sandwich that resembled a large taco.

We opened a bottle of Murphy Goode Pinot Noir and drank glasses of it to wash down the sandwich.

I ate a second sandwich and two cookies.

After dinner I was tired and so I lay down at 8:30.  I awakened at 9:30 and drank some water and blogged this blog.

Bon Appetit
