February 6, 2024 Lunch – Leftover Stir Fried flat noodles with Mixed Seafood. Dinner – Leftover Chicken Mole with Rice and Steamed Asparagus.
I watched the market open and begin a slow rise, which ended with my portfolio reaching the halfway point to its high from the recent low.
I ate granola with milk, blueberries, and mango yogurt for breakfast and worked until 10:30 and then drove to my podiatry appointment at 11:00.
When I returned home at 12:00 I waited for Henry but he did not make it for lunch, so I ate the leftover Stir Fried flat noodles with Mixed Seafood from lunch at Pho Linh.
I then watched the market close and was hearted that it rose another 1.2% today. It is sure to go down tomorrow, after three positive days and a Friday, because the smart money will sell to secure their profits over the weekend.
I did not sleep well last night so I napped from 3:45 until 5:30.
When I awakened, I walk around the block that helped me get to 2750 steps for the day.
We decided to eat some of the leftovers we have accumulated from the last few days of cooking. Tonight, we simply heated the leftover chicken and rice in mole sauce and steamed a few asparagus in the microwave and I fetched beers, and we had a pleasant dinner.
The News was all sickening, so we watched a romantic movie, titled something like “Its Amor” on Netflix that was diverting as we sipped Grapefruit vodkas.
Suzette went to bed after the movie and I stayed up to watch Rachel, who was quite hopeful that litigation and public protests are slowing Trump and Musk illegally dismantling the federal government.
I must have been depressed because I heated a Swedish dessert and ate it with a cup of tea while watching Rachel, which made me feel much better.
Bon Appetit
