May 22, 2025 Lunch - Book Club Dinner - Steak Burritos
Today was book club at the Veterans’ Memorial Park at Louisiana near Gibson. It was hot dogs and cookies from Costco that were wonderful and our choice of a bag of chips from a box full of a variety of chips. Two Saul Bellow novellas were discussed in our usual wide ranging discussion.
For breakfast I ate a bowl of fruit salad, granola, milk, and yogurt. I am eating more at breakfast and dinner these days so I can sandwich my antibiotic in the middle of a meal.
Then I successfully finished the incorporation on a Company on the new Secretary of State’s on-line system with the help of a person at the Secretary of State’s office. I am understanding the system better with each new effort.
For dinner we made steak, avocado, and potato burritos with a bowl of asparagus vichyssoises and opened a bottle of Spanish Rioja Reserva from Costco that cost $7.00.
After dinner we watched Midsomer Murders and then Suzette went to bed.
I stayed up to watch Foyle’s War and went to bed at 11:45.
Both of my cars would not start and neither did Willy’s, so I had to drive the BMW convertible today.
Bon Appetit
