October 6, 2025 Breakfast - Chocolate Croissant. Lunch - Saigon City. Dinner - Sautéed Salmon with Tartare Sauce, Snow Peas, Tabouleh, and Israeli Couscous with fruits

I awakened at 6:30 and showered and got dressed and ate a Chocolate Croissant while I watched the market open.

I then made a lunch plan with Aaron and worked on opening a Robinhood account and then drafted two affidavits and revised a pleading and updated my Pacer account.

Today was AMD’s day in the spotlight with a new joint venture with Open AI. The shares were up $60 at one point but settled down with the rest of the market and closed up $39.00. That took a bit of the steam out of Apple and Nvidia that were both down causing my portfolio to drop .6%.

At 12:30 I drove to Saigon City to meet Aaron for lunch. He ordered an appetizer of 6 pot stickers and we each ordered No. M5, which is a soup with egg vermicelli noodles, a shrimp, slices of pork belly,ba pork spare rib, and three wontons.  The broth is lovely and slightly sweet, perhaps because the soup is served with a small bowl of fiery hot chili sauce and a wedge of fresh lime. Aaron added 1/2 of the chili sauce to his soup and I added lime juice to  my soup.

We talked about Earn some and politics. We both agreed that the food at Saigon City was excellent.

After lunch I drove home and put poison on my desk to rid it of ants, so I went to the bedroom read and napped and watched some of Ari at 4:30.

At 5:00 Suzette said she was starting dinner. We decided to sauté salmon fillets and serve them with PPI Tabouleh and Israeli Couscous and steamed snow peas. I also mentioned tartare sauce, so Suzette made tartare sauce.

I opened the chilled bottle of Bandol Rose I had bought at Trader Joe’s for $15.00. It was a lovely, smooth tasting wine with no sharp edges. Just what one would expect from a good Bandol rose. Suzette loved it and we have 9 or 10 bottles left.

After dinner we watched Antique Roadshow but switched to the Jaguars v. Chiefs after 9:00 when a rerun from Orlando came on. The football game was exciting with the Jaguars scoring with 23 seconds left in the game to win by 4 points.

At 9:30 we went to bed.

Bon Appetit
