October 13, 2025 Breakfast - PPI Sausage, onion, mushroom omelet Lunch - Leftover Pasta with chicken, snow peas, onion, yellow bell pepper, and mushroom sauté in wine sauce with burrata. Dinner - Bao Sa and chicken sandwich with brie cheese
Another odd day of food. I started the day recycling breakfast from yesterday with an added egg to make it into and omelet with a slice of buttered toast spread with French berry preserves and a cup of tea.
I worked on my pleading with some work on the case set for mediation tomorrow until 1:30 when I heated the leftover pasta and chicken, mushroom, yellow bell pepper, and onion dish from last night for lunch.
I worked until 4:00 and watched Ari and then the news until Suzette came home from cocktail hour with the girls around 6:30.
Suzette was not hungry so I heated two Bao Sa and made a dipping sauce of soy, chili sauce, sesame oil, and thinly sliced green onion rings.
After eating the Bao Sa I was still hungry so I toasted a slice of sourdough whole wheat Bosque Bakery bread and spread it with mayonnaise and lay a leaf of lettuce on it, then slices out chicken breast and finally, slices of brie cheese. I ate the sandwich with two dill pickles and a green onion. I drank the last 1/2 glass of Clamato juice with a squeeze of lime juice.
Later I drank a cup of tea with a glass of cognac mixed with Genepy herbal liquor as I blogged this entry.
The market bounced back about 2% today to recover about 1/2 of what it lost on Friday after Trump said he was hopeful the U.S. and China could work out their differences.
