March 26, 2025 Lunch - Leftover Mapo Dofu Dinner - Leftover Roast Duck with Red Cabbage and Chestnuts and Green beans.

I ate granola with tropical fruit salad p, milk, and mango yogurt for breakfast.

Then at 12:30 I heated the leftover Mapo Dofu with rice for lunch.

I then drove to Zazz to meet with Sharmin for an hour.

When I returned home at 3:45 I discovered that meditation was not until tomorrow evening at 5:30 instead of today at 4:30.

With my new found freedom i walked around the block and accumulated 2500 steps for the day.

The worst news of the day was a huge loss in the my portfolio as fears of weak sales by Invidia in China took hold and it closed down $5.74

When I returned at 4:00 I soaked 1/2 cup of No. 1 Bulgur in hot water and then diced a cucumber, two Roma tomatoes, four green onions, and a bunch of minced parsley. Once the vegetables were chopped I added juice of a lemon, 1/3 cup of olive oil, 1 tsp. of salt, and 1/2 cup of minced fresh mint from our garden. The tabouli was delicious. I covered it with Saran and placed it in the fridge for lamb burgers tomorrow evening.

Dinner -

Suzette was hungry so as I finished mincing mint she snapped some green beans and cooked them with the leftover red cabbage and chestnuts with duck, for a lovely dinner. Duck is my favorite meat, so I am always happy when we are eating duck.

The freshly cooked green beans were a refreshing addition to the red cabbage and chestnuts and duck.

We drank the last of the St. Emillion red left from the wine tasting at the restaurant.

The wine was wonderful with food and after dinner also for sipping. It should be popular at the Bistro.

We watched Episode 1 of the Americas (the Atlantic Coast of the U.S. on Peacock and went to bed at 8:30.

I blogged as Suzette slept and went to bed at9:30.
