October 23, 2024 Lunch - Leftover Beef enchiladas, beans, and fried eggs Dinner - Poke Marinated Grilled Swordfish Skewers with Rice and Asparagus
I woke up and prepared a document for Suzette. Suzette made me a latte and I heated a pain au chocolate and watched the Market melt down this morning. By the close my portfolio had fallen over 2% giving back some of its recent remarkable over 7% gain.
At noon I heated the small amount of leftover Blue corn enchiladas with beef and beans and fried two eggs for lunch.
I ate a few bites of tiramisu after lunch and then had an appointment.
At 2:30 I walked to the bank t cash a check to get a few extra steps in.n
I walked a total of over 3200 steps today that is my new daily goal.
Suzette worked at home today and she worked in the yard with her new helper for over an hour cleaning beds.
Around 3:00 Suzette found a recipe for poke sauce and diced the two swordfish filets I bought at Costco into 1 inch cubes and marinated the cubes in the poke sauce until 6:30 when she skewered the swordfish cubes on metal skewers and grilled them on the propane grill.
I fetched the PPI sushi rice and Suzette diced several asparagus stalks into pieces and mixed them with the rice and heated those two up ingredients in the microwave when the swordfish was ready.
I mediated from 4:30 to 5:30.
Suzette fetched 2 Negra Modelos and served grilled swordfish on a pile of rice and asparagus.
We watched Kamala’s Town Hall with Anderson Cooper from 7:00 to 9:00 and then went to bed. I thought Kamala was really good tonight and hopefully cut through some of the Trump lies and exposed Trump as dumb negative demagogue he is.
I ate a bowl of cherry chocolate ice cream with maraschino cherries and whipped cream before bed.
