November 20, 2021 Lunch - Miso, noodle and Fish soup. Dinner - Stir Fried Pork and Vegetables with Rice and Seaweed Salad
I woke up at 4:30 and watched Leicester lose to Chelsea, which is the top ranked team in the PL. I went back to bed at 7:30 and slept until 9:30.
I then watched several matches and games, including Liverpool v. Arsenal and Texas v. West Virginia.
We ate tropical fruit salad, granola, and yogurt and milk for breakfast.
At noon we heated the PPI Miso, fish, and noodle soup. Suzette ate a bowl and I ate two bowls to finish it.
I lay down at 2:00 and rested until 3:30, when we walked around the block.
The coolest thing of the day was that on our walk, Suzette picked up three hickory nuts in their husks and four pine cones. When we returned home Suzette made the three hickory nuts into Santas.
We then showered and dressed for the symphony. We drove to Lowe’s to buy Turkey bags and then drove to UNM for the symphony. It was a romantic program until the very Liszt piece at the end. We loved the Debussy, Ravel, Faure, and Schubert pieces.
Suzette was suffering from a reaction to the Covid booster shot she got on Friday and lay down when we returned home she went to bed.
I heated the Stir fried pork and Vegetables and rice left from last night’s dinner and ate it with a few bites of seaweed salad.
I watched Death in Paradise and then drank a cup of tea and ate a couple of chocolate chip cookies and then went to bed.
A rather leisurely, uneventful, and entirely pleasant day.
I am taking Collagen and turmeric after lunch and finding that it lessens my joint pain.
Bon Appetit
