 March 8, 2021 Lunch - Tailgate sandwich in Plaza parking lot. Dinner -  Fresh Mexican Grill 

We slept in a bit and Suzette worked on the computer to get us the information needed to gain access to the Design Center. 

We ate fruit salad and a taco with ham instead of a taco shell stuffed with chicken salad.  

At 10:30 we drove to the Design Center and walked around looking at fabric for the dining room chairs.  We found a wonderful store with thousands of fabrics and soon we found a fabric we liked.

We walked around 1/2 of the first floor and found a chair carved out of local rock that could be used as a seat in my shower.  Then I waited while Suzette walked the rest of the first floor.  It was 12:30 and I had forgotten my paperwork for Jill’s estate so we drove back to the hotel to fetch it.  We pulled into valet parking space by the casino door. When I came out I made a ham on roll sandwich for each of us and We ate them with pasta and grape salad.  We then drove to the Public Administrator’s office and picked up the art work, silver ware, and glassware.  With the back of the Highlander filled with stuff we drove to IKEA.  We were disappointed with the lack of merchandise and the fact the restaurant was closed. 

We bought and eat a veggie hot dog, a lingon juice, and a bar of milk chocolate with hazelnuts that I ate while Suzette shopped.

 I was able to buy a bottle each of lingon jam and Hero apricot, 7 bars of milk chocolate with hazelnuts, rounds of hard bread, chocolate  elks, 3 bottles of salmon mustard sauce, and a tube of cod roe caviar.

Suzette bought mosquito netting.  The wind was really picking up and we were tired, so drove back to the hotel and lay down for a while.  At 6:00 we went to the casino and Suzette gambled for a few minutes and then we went to the food court.  We first looked at the tired Chinese food and then we went to our old favorite, Fresh Mexican Grille.  Suzette ordered two street tacos, one of carnitas and one of carne asada with a small cup of delicious chipotle salsa.  I ordered a bowl of menudo and a carne asada taco. We both ordered glasses of Modelo Especial I asked for and was given two small cups of chopped cilantro and onion and a small cup of sour cream plus two toasted flour tortillas. Suzette was given salsa and a spoonful of blazing hot escabeche (cucumbers, onion slices and sliced carrots pickled with vinegar and red chili) 

This was a great meal of real Mexican food.  We have never eaten a bad meal at Fresh Mexican Grille.  This one was no exception. 

We returned to the casino at 7:00 and Suzette played the Wheel of Fortune slot machine for an hour and Suzette won $10.00.

It was fun and we were given free drinks.

We went back to the room and ate chocolate and sipped cognac and then watched Wonder Woman.

It was a fun day of activity and dinner was great.
