September 9, 2025 Breakfast - Sausage, Eggs, and Red Onion with Toast Lunch - Cucumber Soup. Dinner - Leftover Coda Bakery Noodles and Spring roll
I awakened at 8:30 after a bad night’s sleep. I decided to have a hardy breakfast to get an energy boost, so I sautéed two patties of Jimmie Dean Sausage, a slice of red onion and then fried two eggs in the skillet.
I toasted the three small slices of baguette and spread them with butter and Bonne Marie French Four Berry Preserves and drank a cup of Earl Grey tea.
By mid-morning the NASDAQ turned positive and I started feeling better.
There was lots of activity in the house that distracted me until about noon as Suzette had 3 helpers move a large armoire through the front door and and my office into the back bedroom and then carried most of her sewing fabrics from the basement to the back room and then moved the wine racks we bought that were in the garage to the basement.
We are trying to remodel the basement into a wine cellar from a junk room and sewing room.
They finished around 1:20 and Suzette had an appointment at 2:00, so I filled bowls with cucumber soup and garnished each bowl with avocado chunks and the remaining croutons.
After the market closed I checked and was up fractionally, Apple was down $3.53 but Nvidia was up $2.45.
I then began to accumulate evidence and documents to complete discovery for the LRGA until 4:30.
I watched some news and then at 5:30 I boiled shrimp and we ate the rest of the Coda Noodle Bowl and added shrimp. I also ate the remaining half of the pork spring roll with a shrimp.
We shared the last glass of 2021 Guy Saget Vouvray we opened at the Sunday night tailgate dinner at the opera. The slight sweetness of the Vouvray helped overcome the spiciness of the fish sauce.
After dinner we got ready for bed. Suzette rested and read and I watched two videos about ramen shops in Japan and the extended coverage of Stage 16 of the Tour of Spain on You Tube until after 9:00, although we each ate a few bites of peach cobbler.
Today we reserved a cabin at the Apple Farm in Philo for the Pinot Festival in June next year and a hotel in Tokyo for the last five nights in Japan and in Honolulu on the way to Japan.
Suzette was incredibly busy today and I made good progress identifying discovery to support our theories in the LRGA.
We enjoyed lovely leftovers for Lunch and Dinner without having to cook.
I like a hardy breakfast to energize my body.
