I woke up at 2:30 and walked to the nurses‘ station.

When I returned shortly after 3:00 I turned on the TV and watched Finding your Roots and then the first hour of Morning Joe.

Then I went back to sleep until 7:00. I watched the news until 8:00 when my I Pad started delivering today’s quotes.

It was another day of animist activity until 2:00 when Federal Reserve Chairmen
Jerome Powell delivered the notes of the Federal Open Market Committee. The report was positive and the market took off to a record close of all the averages. The Dow added 401 points and reached 39,512. The NASDAQ added 202 and reached 16,349 and the S&P added 46 to reach a new milestone of 5224 that very few analysts predicted. It was a banner day that confirmed the economy and the market are on track to a soft landing and perhaps even an expansion in the last half of the year as the fed starts lowering interest rates.

The stock market is a casino where it may take years to see if your bets pay off. To mention two of my best stocks that I have held for years, I bought Meta at the IPO for $20.00/share and Nvidia five or six years ago at $130/share. At today’s close Meta was $505.52 and Nvidia was. $903.72.

For breakfast I ate the two slices of whole wheat bread a 1 little sizzler pork sausage off the tray and a slice of Kaufman’s rye bagel with cream cheese.  Then at 10:30 I walked to the gym and rode 10 minutes at 85 revolutions per minute, which tired me, so I walked back to my room. I peed and pooped and Suzette came and helped me put on new pull ups and I brushed my teeth and got back in bed.

When lunch was served I rejected it and ate a few mouthfuls of Vietnamese Noodles.

At 3:00 I after a long call with Luke and Suzette Suzette left and I walked around the floor with the PT person.

After 5:00 Suzette, Willy, and I did a merged call.

When dinner was served around 6:30  I took only the dinner roll and ate it with the salad Suzette brought last night.

Then I mist have dozed because I missed a call from Billy.

Later at 10:00 I took my meds and blogged and then read before going back to sleep.
