April 10, 2026 Breakfast - Granola Lunch - Spaghetti and meat sauce. Snack - Bagel with Gravad Lax and grapes. Dinner - Spaghetti tossed with Trout Mornay Sauce
Today, I awakened at 7:00 and watched the market open. It was another risk on day in the market. My portfolio ended up another1.1%.
I worked on my reply and talked Scott for a while while I ate a bowl of granola, milk, yogurt, and blueberries.
Then at 11:00 we heated bowls of PPI spaghetti with tomato and meat sauce garnished with shredded mozzarella.
At 11:45 Suzette drove me to dialysis and I was put on a machine for two hours during which time I ate two slices of bagel spread with cream cheese and garnished with slices of red onion and the newly cured Gravad lax that was really delicious.
At 3:30 when Suzette picked me up after dialysis we drove to Smith’s on Carlisle at Constitution where we bought red and black grapes, asparagus, scallops, several cheeses, including Racalette. Ground beef, and blueberries.
We then went home and rested and watched the Artemis ii splashdown.
Suzette then diced asparagus and I minced a shallot and two sweet peppers that she sautéed and added to a Bechamel sauce to which she added several T. of Racalette, a splash of Albariño and the smoked trout from Sunday’s dinner to make a super rich trout Mornay sauce that she tossed with the sautéed shallot, peppers, and spaghetti.
I poured out the last two glasses of Faustino Rivera Ulcea Albariño.
We could neither finish our portions of spaghetti, so there will be some for breakfast, or our wine.
After dinner we walked in the garden and I accumulated over 2000 steps today. The sage is blooming, so quite beautiful.
We watched a couple of Indiana Jones movies and went to bed around 9:00.
Bon Appetit
