November 19, 2024 Lunch - Leftover Moo Shu Pork. Dinner - Stir Fried Rice Noodles with PPI Red Cooked Pork and Vegetables
Around 8:00 I sliced the remaining strawberries and put some of them in a bowl with granola, milk, and yogurt and the rest in a jar that I filled with cognac and put in the fridge for brandied fruit.
Today was awesome. Everything seemed to work. We sent an invitation to three couples to invite them to a holiday dinner on December 15. Then Suzette made contact with Innovage’s V.P. of Development, who wrote that she would look into an acquisition.
Then I received a call from the State Bank of India telling me how to correct my application for a checking account.
Then I coordinated with Chloe at Zia Trust and accepted Mickey’s offer to invest in his Metalayer hedge fund and Chloe started working on the paperwork to make the investment from my Zia Trust IRA account.
Then I drove to Doug Baker’s office and Doug’s Secretary Sharon notarized my driver’s license so I could complete the application to State Bank of India.
At 12:30 I took a brake to eat the leftover Moo Shu Pork and two Mandarin pancakes left from Suzette and my lunch at East Ocean last week. I warmed the pancakes on the gas stove top like we do with flour tortillas and heated the Moo Shu Pork in the microwave and made a cup of Chinese a green tea and ate a delicious lunch while watching the first half of a EUFA match between The Netherlands and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
I did not get to watch the second half of the match because I got busy.
I got a call from Bill, who wanted help with a possible condemnation of some of his property.
I was filling out the form for the Bank and talking to Bill when I was interrupted by an emergency request by a client for an employment agreement and a new LLC. I had to tell Bill I would visit his office in the morning.
At 3:00 I finally got a moment to check my portfolio and it became instantly apparent that investors were bidding up the price of Nvidia in anticipation of a blockbuster earnings announcement tomorrow.
Nvidia closed up $6.58 per share and was bid up further after hours. That sent my portfolio to within a hair’s length of an all time high and confirmed my strategy to transfer shares of Nvidia from my IRA to my personal account to meet my Required Minimum Distribution from my IRA for this year without reducing my investments further. Since I have already paid the estimated taxes for 2024, I do not need any of the distribution to fund my estimated tax.
I finished my application for State Bank of India and drove to the post office and mailed it.
When I returned home I started drafting my client’s requested Employment Agreement and finished and sent it to my client at 4:55.
I caught up on my emails and revised my client’s employment agreement by 6:28 and talked to Suzette for a couple of minutes and ate a few corn chips that I dipped the guacamole crema Suzette made by stirring sour cream/crema into the PPI guacamole from last week.
At 6:30 I meditated until 7:00.
Then I heated the onion soup and added 1/2 yellow squash, a T. of better than bullion, the last 1/2 cup of Côtes du Rhône white and four sliced mushrooms to the French onion soup to give it more flavor. Suzette informed she had planned to use the onion soup as the roasting medium for the pot roast we cook in the next or two.
We decided to stir fry some rice vermicelli with the PPI Stir Fried Red Cooked Pork and Vegetables. So,I boiled two bunches of rice vermicelli and we then stir fried the resulting noodles with the leftover Red Cooked Pork and Vegetables.
We watched episode Two of Leonardo and went to bed.
Bon Appetit
