August 20, 2025 Breakfast - Century Hotel. Lunch - Bagel with Lebanon Bologna and Swiss Cheese Dinner - Oni, in Albuquerque
We woke up at 7:30, showered, packed, dressed and went down for breakfast at Century Hotel. Again it was a full breakfast surprisingly, with blitzes and blueberry compote plus hot patty sausage, scrambled eggs, cottage fried potatoes, and quiches.
Suzette was good and ate sausage, eggs, yogurt, and fruit and a bite of my blintz.
I ate sausage patty, eggs, a blintz and a n apple Danish. Then I cut two bagels in half, toasted them, and spread cream cheese on each half and wrapped them in napkins to take on the plane.
At 10:00 we drove to the airport and waited for our 12:30 flight to Nashville that connected to an Albuquerque flight. We sliced slices of the Swiss cheese we bought at the Amish farm at Lake Seneca and slices of the Lebanon Bologna we bought at Green Dragon in Ephrata.
Suzette ate 1/2 of a half and I ate the 3/4 if the Bologna and Swiss on cream cheese bagels on the flight from Albany to Nashville.
We arrived in Albuquerque around 5:30 and decided to try a new restaurant near our house, We picked Oni at the corner of 6th and Central. I ordered a daily special of salmon sashimi and Suzette ordered a bowl of ramen with pork belly in broth.
My sashimi tasted great but it was a tiny portion. Suzette on the other hand was served a large bowl of ramen with pork belly and grilled broccoli, shitake mushroom slivers, garlic, and cabbage and a raw egg.
We shared both dishes and liked both and with a pint of Ex Novo Oktoberfest beer. We will go back.
We went home and Suzette checked the garden and I unpacked and went through the mail.
Suzette went to bed before 9:00 and I stayed up to blog.
It is good to be back in Albuquerque.
Bon Appetit
