January 7, 2026 Breakfast - Lax on bagels. Lunch - Mary and Tito’s Dinner - Leftover French Onion Soup
Today was a rather blah day.
I toasted two slices of bagel and covered them with cream cheese, slices of red onion, lax, and capers and drank a cup of tea for breakfast.
Then at 9:15 I walked to the bank.
Sammie arrived at noon to pick up boxes of documents and we went to lunch at Mary and Tito’s. Sammie ordered carne adovado and I ordered my usual, blue corn enchiladas with double beans, extra onions, red chili, beef and an egg over
When we returned home, Willy helped load the boxes and then I watched PL soccer until 3:30, dozing part of the time.
I worked on my succession plan for my law license and then at 5:00 Suzette was hungry, so she heated the leftover French Onion Soup, filled the soup crocks with soup and garnished the top with slices of baguette and Gruyere cheese and baked the crocks in the oven.
She opened the bottle 2018 Londette Pinot Noir from Pays d Oc that turned out to be a delicious smooth tasting wine.
Willy joined us for a crock of soup.
After dinner Suzette opened one of the Hawaiian dark chocolate bars we bought in Hawai’i. And we each ate a couple of bites.
