December 4, 2024 Lunch - Garcia’s Kitchen. Dinner - PPI Pot Roast with Leftover Potatoes au Gratin and Spinach

I watched the market open today and it just kept going up except for a few communications and utility stocks.  The NASDAQ ended at a new all time high up 1.3% and my portfolio ended up almost 1.6% also at an all time high.

Squawk on the Street lauded Marvell Technologies that makes designer AI chips for customers, so I sold my ABNB shares and bought Marvell shares. Marvell went up 20% today and I caught it in the middle of it’s rise and pnetted a $2000 profit. My hope is that Marvell will continue to rise as the news of its remarkable earnings and client base spreads to the general public. It is actually a competitor to Nvidia but in specialty chips that are deliverable much more rapidly than Nvidia, according to the news release.

It was not a remarkable day of food. I ate a chocolate croissant for breakfast with a cup of chai for breakfast.

Nancy came at 11:30 to take me to lunch to thank me for my representation of Steve in his latest skirmish with the OSE enforcement unit.

We drove to Garcia’s Kitchen on Central. I ate Huevos Locos but made the midtake of saying with red Chile rather than chili on the side and no papas. I liked the hand made toasted corn tortillas served with the Huevos.

Nancy ordered chicken enchiladas.

When I returned home at 1:00 I watched a few minutes of the Arsenal v. Man Union match and then went on the telephone for a 2:00 meeting that lasted until 3:15.

I then napped until 5:30.

When I got up Suzette wanted to cook dinner. She combines two PPIs, pot roast and Aaron’s Potatoes au Gratin from Thanksgiving with the last of the spinach the got rid of three things in the fridge and made a delicious dish for dinner.

I opened a bottle of California Embroidery Pinot Noir and we served the meal with horseradish cream sauce and cranberry relish.

After dinner we watched a British digital cartoon Christmas movie and at 9:00 Suzette went to bed to watch her shows and I blogged and read.

Suzette went to the YMCA on Indian School Rd. and joined, which is free for silver sneakers seniors. She plans to hire a personal trainer two days a week, which is my Christmas gift to her to strengthen her core and glutes that will hopefully cure her back pain.

I could no be happier.

Bon Appeti
