December 14, 2024 Breakfast - Lax and Bagels  Lunch - Salami and cheese sandwiches. Dinner - Stuffed Peppers

Today I tried to relax after the big day of activity yesterday, which was pre-ordained because I worked on a pleading from 3:00 a.m. until 7:30 a.m.

I watched and dozed through Arsenal tying Everton in a spirited draw 0 to 0, then an impressive win by Nottinghamj Forest over Aston Villa 2 to 1 to go into 4th place in the PL

I toasted two slices of bagel at 8:30 and spread the fig and cream cheese spread Suzette made and sliced the last of the Gravad lax and garnished the bagels with red onion, lax, and capers.  I drank a cup of chai.

Unfortunately the lax was a little old and it upset my stomach.

When the fixtures ended around 12:30 I read and rested until 2:00 when Suzette came home.

I toasted three slices of baguette  and spread Mayo And, then added slices of salami, then seeded mustard, and finally slices of Havarti cheese to make three open faced sandwiches. I ate 10 black olives and two green onions with the sandwiches and drank a glass of yogurt milk.

Then I rested and read and dozed until 4:00, when I watched the Army- Navy game until it was clear Navy would win. I drove to El Super and bought oranges, lemons, beautiful limes, an eggplant, green beans, a cucumber, a spaghetti squash, an acorn squash, avocados, cilantro, onions, yogurt, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, and a few other items.

I return home around 5:30 and Suzette helped me unload.

Suzette was hungry so she heated the stuffed peppers from Thanksgiving and we opened a bottle of Argentinian Trapiche Malbec that was delicious.

After dinner we finished the bottle with three Belgian chocolates each and watched a bittersweet Christmas movie and a little bit of SNL and went to bed at 9:00.

I slept until 10:00 and then finished this blog.

Suzette spend the greater part of the day shopping for gifts for her employees’ Christmas gifts and I spent the greater part of the day watching soccer and football.
