February 25, 2026 Breakfast - Taco Eggs on corn tortillas. Lunch - Vinaigrette. Dinner - Leftover Chirashi and Chinese Longevity Noodles with beef
I slept badly and woke up at 3:30 and watched the business news, which was mostly about Nvidia’s quarterly report to be announced after the close. The market was up again today, but not as much as yesterday.
I heated about a cup of the leftover taco meat in butter and and added two eggs to make scrambled taco eggs that I lay on three toasted corn tortillas and ate with a latte macchiato for breakfast.
I slept from 8:30 to 10:00.
I reviewed a document and wrote a letter and then at 11:30 I walked to Vinaigrette to meet Paul for lunch. He and I car pooled to Sunday school together 70 years ago in Fort Worth.
We are also in similar businesses. Paul owns Geltmore Development and develops real estate and I am a real estate lawyer, we had lots to talk about.
He was particularly interested in what Willy does.
We both ordered Cajun Gumbo, a shrimp, andouille sausage, chicken, okra, and rice stew.
After lunch I walked back and was surprised that the walk was only 3600 steps, resulting in a day’s total of 3900 steps.
From 3:00 until 4:00 In listened to the Nvidia quarterly report. It was not as exciting as the talks Jensen gives at the electronics conventions, but he was as visionary as always.
He will be on CNBC tomorrow and might be more interesting.
I tried to see what kind of bump the Nvidia stock got from its now usual 70% increase in revenue. It seemed to be up $10.00 but that did not seem to hold, which seemed to be a delay in the tape. In any event, my portfolio was up about .6%. The real tell will be tomorrow when the stock starts trading on it current earnings.
At 4:00 I watched Ari and Suzette came home and we watched as Democrats excoriate the excesses of the Republicans. It seems the Justice Department withheld some files implicating Trump in the Epstein file, which would violate the recent disclosure law.
Dinner - We decided to eat the leftover Chirashi and Chinese Noodles for dinner.
At 5:30 I divided the 1/2 chirashi and Suzette heated the Chinese noodles.
I made a cup of green tea and Suzette drank her cocktail and we ate a pleasant dinner.
After dinner we watched two episodes of Salt, Fat, Acid, and Heat with Samin Nosrat on Netflix, that examines cooking by analyzing each of the four elements.
I dozed and we went to bed at 9:30.
Bon Appetit
