June 23, 2025 Breakfast - Bagel and Gravad Lax. Lunch - PPI - Pad Thai Dinner - Casarecce Paste with Mushroom, onions, Burrata, and Butternut Squash

I slept until 7:15, then showered, and dressed and watched the open. There were lots of gyrations today in the market, but toward the end of the day the market hit its highs for the day and my portfolio went positive .4%.

I ate a bagel spread with cream cheese and garnished with chopped red onions, slices of Gravad lax, and capers.

Then I drove to Hunter Lumber and bought a 5 gallon bucket of Penofin.

I then went by the bank to get money to pay Carlos and the to Smith’s where I bought sour cream, milk, a 3 lb. salmon filet, Roma tomatoes, large avocados, and a bunch of cilantro.

I then returned home to deliver the penofin to Carlos and his brother to spray the roof.

I reviewed documents for a construction loan for Rahim to remodel the Albuquerque Howard Johnson hotel he and a group of investors bought two years ago.

I then paid Carlos for spraying the roof while talking to a Rahim about loan language.

I worked until 1:30 and then heated a bowl of the PPI Pad Thai we made last week.

I ate it with a cup of Chinese green tea and watched the market close. Trump announced a ceasefire in the war between Israel and Iran that sent the price of oil down several dollars near where it was before the start of hostilities ten or 11 days ago since there would be not shortage of supply.

After lunch I watched the news until 3:00 and then prepared and filed a Notice of Completion of Briefing for my Motion to Modify SSI - 107.in the LRGA.

I then lay down and watched Ari and Jim Cramer until 5:00.

I was hungry, so I ate some corn chips and peanuts when Suzette came home.

Then at 6:00 we started cooking

Dinner.

I chopped five cloves of garlic, five mushrooms, 1/2 of a poblano chili, removed and diced the meat from the bones of the two steaks we grilled for the party Saturday night.

Suzette sautéed the ingredients while I grated Swiss Gruyere cheese that Suzette added to the sauté skillet plus the pasta plus the leftover peas and diced tomatoes and cucumber slices from last night’s lettuce salad.

When everything was ready Suzette added 1/2 of a burrata to each dish and I fetched a JME Selection 2020 Spanish Rioja Reserva (Costco).

After dinner we watched the Antiques Roadshow until 9:00 and then prepared went to bed.

Suzette was busy so she fell asleep during the Roadshow.

We went to bed at 9:00.

Bon Appetit
