Dinner Grilled Chicken, parley and feta
sausages with Coleslaw and fresh boiled corn on the cob
I thawed out the two chicken,
parsley and feta sausages I had bought last Tuesday at Sprouts. I had also bought three ears of white corn at
pro’s Ranch market on Sunday for $.99.
Dinner was
easy. Suzette put a pot of water on the
stove to boil and I dropped the thawed sausages in to boil for a couple of
minutes. Then we put the sausages on the
propane grill and grilled them for about 15 minutes while the corn boiled. I fetched the PPI coleslaw from last night’s
dinner from the garage and we mixed condiments (mustard, horseradish,
mayonnaise and catsup) on our plates to dip the sausages in. I fetched two Negra Modelos from the fridge
and we were ready to eat when the sausages were ready.
We rolled
the corn in butter and Suzette dabbed the green parsley sauce from last Tuesday
evening’s meal on her corn also.
We sat on
the porch and watched and discussed our garden as we ate our lovely summer picnic
meal.
Bon Appétit
