July 23, 2025 Breakfast - Sautéed Smoked Pork Cutlet, eggs and Onion. Lunch - Leftover Japanese Fried Pork Cutlet with Rice and Curry Sauce and salad. Dinner - Grilled T-bone steak with Caprese Salad
I awakened at 5:00 and watched the start of Stage 16 of the Tour and then returned to bed at 6:00 and slept until 7:30. When I awakened I watched the Tour and rode a mile on the stationary bikethen returned to market until 9:00 when I made breakfast. I sautéed a smoked pork cutlet, a slice of onion, a slice of cantaloupe, and two eggs over easy. I drank a cup of green tea and Suzette poured us each a glass of orange juice and joined me and we shared breakfast.
Then I read a case and worked on the pleading I am drafting until 1:30 when I heated the leftover Pork cutlet, rice, and Japanese curry sauce left from lunch at Tamashi two days ago and then went to the garden to pick roses and view the lively water lilly.
After lunch I checked my portfolio and was happily surprised that the Dow rose 507 points and the NASDAQ rose 127 points. Many of my stocks rose such as Nvidia going up $3.75. My portfolio rose 1.34% to a new all time high.
Then at 3:00 I meditated and at 4:00 I watched the news on MSNBC.
Suzette came home around 4:00 and at 5:30 we prepared
Dinner.
The menu was in keeping with Suzette’s new diet, a grilled steak and a caprese salad made with two layers of tomato, basil leaves, a slice of cucumber from our garden, and a few threads of red onion dressed with Spanish Patron wine vinegar and olive oil and a dash of sugar and salt.
I also sautéed four sliced mushrooms, 1/2 of a shallot minced, and a T. of fresh thyme from our garden in two T. of butter and 1 T. of olive oil and a dash of Amontillado sherry.
I opened a bottle of California Embroidery Pinot Noir and we each drank a glass with dinner with ice.
Then at 7:25 we walked around e block 1500 steps.
Later I watched the news and there was a bombshell announcement by Bradley Edward’s, the attorney for over 100 Epstein victims that Epstein’s 50 th birthday book in which the Donald Trump letter is is probably in the possession of Epstein’s estate’s attorneys who are in big law firms and may be available for Subpoena by Congress.
I am surprised that Rupert Murdock’s attorneys have not already sought the book because it has the evidence to refute Trump’s allegation in Trump’s $10 billion lawsuit.
The discussion speculated that the Justice Department or Trump may already have possession of the book, which would make sense, since he is alleging that he never sent a letter to Epstein’s on Epstein’s 50th birthday.
Needless to say with this disclosure and the House of Representatives going on its August recess vacation a day early to avoid a vote on the discharge portion to release the Epstein’s evidence, this issue is not going away.
During this discussion on Lawrence’s show I ate some clafoutis with whipped cream and drank a cup of Earl Grey tea.
Suzette worked after we returned and we went to bed at 9:00, when she went to sleep and I blogged.
Bon Appetit
