I made a simple salad for lunch with a piece of PPI pesto rubbed chicken breast, some Swiss cheese, a pickle, a green onion and a warm sun ripened tomato from our garden. I also made Swiss cheese toast slices and ate under the gazebo in the garden.
Willy came over for dinner and without much arm twisting we all agreed to warm up the PPIs from Sunday’s dinner, plus we steamed the last of the asparagus. I opened a bottle of 2013 Famille Perrin Reserve Cotes Du Rhone, which went well with the meal.
After dinner we finished off the last of the 500 gram wheel of Brie and Willy ate a slice of Susan’s delicious Orange Bunt cake.
