June 9, 2025 Breakfast - Granola with Tropical Fruit Salad and Mango Yogurt. Lunch - Costco Hot Dog Dinner - Steak Salad
I woke up at 7:45 when the market was up but as the day progressed the energy collapsed to only a small gain as criticism of Apple caused it and Meta to go negative, but Meta has gone up 200 points from $500 to $700 recently.
I ate granola with yogurt and tropical fruit salad for breakfast.
The I worked on the Indian forms and coded the credit card statements for business expenses until 12:30, when I drove to DHL and sent the forms to MUFG in Mumbai.
I then drove to Wells Fargo for cash to pay Carlos for the next phase of roof repair.
I then drove to Costco and ate a hot dog for lunch.
After lunch I drove to RWC and bought four bundles of heavy cedar shakes.
I then drove to Lowe’s and bought an avocado, a bottle of Tonic Water, and a gallon of milk on my way home. When I arrived around 2:30 I checked the market close that was rather weak but still positive.
At 5:00 I drove to refill the propane tank but could find none.
When I returned at 6:00 I picked a bag of lettuce and a sprig of tarragon and two bulbs of garlic.
I then made a salad by adding a diced tomato and an avocado, 1/4 cucumber peeled, seeded, to a bowl of spun lettuce, and sliced, and a few slices of red onion in the teak salad bowl.
Suzette sautéed one of the steaks Billy and Elaine gave us for Christmas with garlic and thyme.
I made a dressing with balsamic vinegar, Argentinian Alta Vista olive oil, tarragon, and minced garlic and then sliced and diced about 3/4 of the steak and Suzette cleaned and microwaved the potatoes she picked from our garden. She then assembled the salad by adding the cooked potatoes, diced steak, and dressing the salad.
Suzette also fetched a bottle of Kirkland Gigondas from the basement and I opened it and we poured glasses of this wonderful wine.

After dinner we watched two Antiques Roadshows and game two of the Stanley Cup with the last of the Gigondas and shared five squares of milk chocolate.
Suzette lay down at 9:00 and I watched news and at 10:00 Rachel Maddow and Lawrence at 11:00.
This an amazing period of history in America. Will peaceful protest stop the unlawful and immoral actions of this administration.
Bon Appetit
